Type of Fuel Products We Offer

  • Unleaded 87, 89, and 93: At every station, we provide normal, midgrade, and premium fuel. These are designated as 87 (normal), 89 (midgrade), and 93 (premium) at the pump. The figure indicates how much octane is in the fuel.
  • E15: Commonly referred to as Unleaded 88, is gasoline that contains up to 15% ethanol. The extra ethanol lowers the price at the pump while raising the octane. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has authorized the use of unleaded 88 in all automobiles, trucks, and SUVs manufactured after 2001.
  • E85: Sometimes referred to as flex-fuel, is the maximum proportion of ethanol fuel, with 51%–83% ethanol content. Only flex-fuel vehicles use E85. For suggested gasoline, please see the owner's manual for your car. All Caraf Oil branded locations offer E85 Fuel Product.
  • Diesel: Available at many of our locations. The green or black nozzle handle depending on the fuel brand offered at the site, makes diesel fuel easy to detect. Our customers like the option of High Flow Diesel pumps, allowing them to spend less time at the pump, and be able to get back on the road faster. Only engines designed to run on diesel fuel should use diesel fuel. Up to 5% of regular fuel may contain biodiesel.
  • DEF: Diesel vehicles must inject DEF into their exhaust streams in order for their emissions to comply with federal regulations. Medium- and heavy-duty trucks with diesel engines built after 2010 must have DEF. DEF needs to be kept separate from diesel and should never be combined with it. Customers may find DEF either next to our Diesel pumps or inside the convenience store in a 2.5 U.S Gallon designated container.
